Dr. K grew up in the Bronx (aka The Boogie Down) in New York City. She's had a life-long passion for television and studied Journalism at Morrisville State University in New York.
She attended the Miami Acting Studio and continues to train at the Actor’s Green Room. Karen has produced shows such as Island Trivia, and the Love, Lies & Lifestyles podcast. She’s also worked with Allure Magazine to discuss the importance of women’s beauty and self-image, and has acted in Burden, Puppy Love, and the latest web series, Shiny New Things. Karen is currently working on her first documentary.
